Rainforest in Trinidad, Tobago, and Southern Tropical America.

Description:[edit]

A small understory palm, single or multi-stemmed up to 2m tall, with very slender unarmed stems. Between 3 and 8 leaves, spirally arranged on upper part of stem. Leaf blade either simple and deeply bifid (V-shaped) or pinnate with 2-10 leaflets per side.

Culture:[edit]

Warm, sheltered and moist.
