Habitat:[edit]

Hillsides and mountain slopes of east central and south New Caledonia, in both light shade and full sun positions.

Description:[edit]

Clustering (usually), solitary or even branched emergent palm to about 8 m.

General:[edit]

Very similar to B. gracilis

Culture:[edit]

Very difficult to grow out of its native habitat, and very slow.
