Quite rare in habitat.

Distribution & Habitat:[edit]

Papua New Guinea rainforest.

Description:[edit]

A very large solitary palmate palm, up to 20m tall, with bluish/green deeply cut leaves up tp 3.2m across. The petioles have very sharp edges which can give a nasty cut to the unwary.

Culture:[edit]

Sunny, moist, rich soil. Tropical in its requirements.
