A rainforest plant of New Guinea.
Description:[edit]
A small, solitary palm with a thin, canelike stem to about 1.8m tall that has a small crown of glossy green leaves with elliptic leaflets that have a finely drawn out tip. It has red to maroon new leaves.
Culture:[edit]
Warm, sheltered and moist. Tropical/warm sub-tropical.
