Distribution & Habitat:[edit]

Cloud forests of eastern Mexico, around San Luis Potosi, and Hidalgo.

Description:[edit]

A small cycad which can eventually get a 20cm trunk. Rarely more than 4 leaves to a plant, up to 1m long, smooth and dark green in colour. The young leaves are a very attractive bronze colour.

Culture:[edit]

Sheltered, lightly shaded position in the tropics/sub-tropics. A good container plant.
