Distribution & Habitat:[edit]

In Veracruz Mexico, where there are 2 distinct populations; one on the coast, and the other between 60, and 800m altitude. It comes from cool, humid, semi-deciduous rainforest.

Description:[edit]

A small to medium sized cycad to about 1m tall, with up to 9 dark green leaves to 2m long.

Culture:[edit]

Prefers a cool tropical/sub-tropical climate, shade, good drainage, and high humidity.
