Distribution & Habitat:[edit]
Evergreen and deciduous woodland on limestone slopes in the county of Debao in western Guangxi province, China.
Description:[edit]
A small to medium sized cycad, with a subteranean caudex, and spectacular leaves, up to 3m long, glossy deep green, and dichotomously branched.
General:[edit]
This species was only discovered in 1996, but is already under severe threat from both habitat clearance, and plant collectors.
Culture:[edit]
Sunny, moist, but well drained position. Would tolerate (and probably prefer) calcerous soils. Probably also quite cold tolerant.
