Distribution & Habitat:

Rainforest on La Grande-Terre, New Caledonia.

Description:

Attractive, medium to large emergant palm (to about 15m), with severely recurved leaves, and a powdery, white crownshaft.

Culture:

Very rarely seen in cultivation. Very slow growing.
