Distribution & Habitat:[edit]

New Guinea rainforest.

Description:[edit]

A medium sized clumping palm, to about 6m, with a very prominent green crown shaft.

General:[edit]

Not as spectacular as its brother, the Lipstick Palm, C. renda, however, none the less, a very attractive, underutilised palm for the tropics.

Culture:[edit]

Like all Cyrtostachys, this one is very cold sensitive.
