Habitat:[edit]
Madagascan rainforest, along stream banks, and among boulders.
Description:[edit]
A small to medium sized single trunked palm to about 6m, with an untidy crown of leaves.
General:[edit]
Culture:[edit]
This is an easily grown palm for a moist, lightly shaded position. Since it normally lives near streams, it is a water lover, and potted plants thrive if left sitting in about an inch of water.
