Distribution & Habitat:[edit]

Rainforest in the Usambara Mountains, north-eastern Zaire.

Description:[edit]

A small clumping cycad to about 1m tall, and up to 3 trunks. Leaves semi-erect to about 2m long. Very similar in appearance to [Encephalartos hildebrandtii].

Culture:[edit]

Sunny, moist, but well drained position. Frost sensitive.
