Along the Mbeluzi River, Swaziland, and Mozambique.

Distribution & Habitat:[edit]

Deciduous forest, and flood plains.

Description:[edit]

A small cycad with a subteranean trunk to about 30cm long, and erect leaves up to 2m long. Very similar in appearance to E. villosus

Lightly shaded, well drained position. Frost sensitive.
