New Guinea rainforest.

Description:[edit]

Attractive, medium sized, solitary Ptychosperma, to about 5m, with caryotoid leaves, and dark red emergent leaves.

General:[edit]

Often confused with P. burretianum, the main difference being that this species is solitary, while P. burretianum is clustering.

Culture:[edit]

Warm, sheltered position, with moist, well drained soil.
