Habitat:

Rainforest slopes of east Madagascar

Description:

A small to medium sized palm, to about 7m tall, with pale brown bark, and long erect leaves, with pendulous leaflets.

General:

Not very commonly grown.

Culture:

Shady, sheltered, and moist.
