Habitat:[edit]
Confined to Guantnamo province, eastern Cuba, this is an early pioneer palm tree that has three known subpopulations in lowland open forest and anthropic landscapes between 350 and 420 m.
Description:[edit]
Large attractive palm to about 20m, with a very solid trunk. Slightly plumose leaves. Very similar in appearance to the R. regia. Figure 1. R. lenis in Cuba.
