Well drained sandy ridges in pine-oak forest in peninsula Florida.

Description:[edit]

Small palm, usually subterranean trunk, although occasionally being emergent to about 3m, with yellow/green costa-palmate leaves.

Culture:[edit]

Sunny, well drained position. Drought tolerant.
