Distribution & Habitat:[edit]

A limestone cliff dweller from Tabasco, southern Mexico.

Description:[edit]

A small cycad, with leaves to about 2m long, with the young leaves being brown to purplish. In habitat, the leaves are pendant, however in cultivation, they becomne strongly arching.

Culture:[edit]

Likes a sheltered, shady, moist, but well drained position. Prefers a neutral to slightly alkaline potting mix. Very rare in cultivation.
