Distribution & Habitat:[edit]

Found along the west coast of Mexico, and the Maria Cleofas Islands, where it grows in Pinus and Quercus forests. The area has very seasonal rainfall of about 1000mm per year.

Description:[edit]

A small cycad with branched subterranean stems each to about 12 cm diameter. It has stiff, leathery, bright green leaves up to 1m long.

Culture:[edit]

Well drained, light shade.
