Editing Voanioala gerardii (section)

===Description:===
Massive feather palm, up to 20m tall, closely resembling a coconut palm.
It has up to 70 stiff, waxy green leaflets on each side of the petiole.
Leaves up to 5m long. It produces large bunches of reddish brown fruit.
One feature of this palm is the large number of chromosomes its cells contain,
at around 600 this is the largest number ever recorded for a monocotyledon.
