Only found in shady ''Pinus'' forests at San Luis Potosi,
eastern Mexico, at about 1800m altitude.

===Description:===
A small cycad to about 20cm high,
with spirally twisted leaves.

===General:===
Endangered in its native habitat. Popular with collectors.

===Culture:===
A shady, moist position in well drained soil.
