===Distribution & Habitat:===
Grows in rainforest along the slopes of
the Andes from Venezuala to Bolivia.

===Description:===
A medium sized solitary palm which can get to 10m tall,
with a pale green trunk, and dark green pinnate leaves.

===Culture:===
Warm, sheltered and moist. Looks best when planted in groups.
