Endangered in habitat.

===Distribution & Habitat:===
Wet, tropical rainforest of Guatamala and Mexico.

===Description:===
A very small palm, to about 1m high with corrugated leaves,
which hasve distinctly toothed margins.
The typical form has a plain green leaf,
with very attractive white edge around it,
however there are several other forms with slight differences in the leaf.

===General:===
A very popular palm with collectors,
due to its very unusual leaves and size,
but now unfortunately rare in its natural habitat.

===Culture:===
Warm, sheltered and moist.
