Emergant palm of moist rainforest, in southern La Grande-Terre, New Caledonia.

===Description:===
A medium sized emergant feather palm to about 15m,
with very prominant stilt roots,
extending up to nearly 2m from the ground.

Very rarely seen in cultivation,
and be prepared for an extremely slow growing plant
if lucky enough to get one.
Would like moist, shady, sheltered conditions.
