Milpesos palm

South American rainforest

Attractive, tall, palm with an upright "shuttlecock" type leaf arrangenmment.
The new leaves are maroon in colour.

===General:===
A rarely seen palm which deserves to be much more widely cultivated.

===Culture:===
A fast grower, given plenty of sun, water, and warmth.
