===Distribution & Habitat:===
Native to Sumatra and Malaysia.

===Description:===
Very thin stemmed small palm which forms a
thick clump. Leaves are mottled, and undivided or divided once.
Mature fruits are red.

===Culture:===
Grows best in filtered light in a moist position.
