Figure 1. R. julietiae near Antsohihy in northern Madagascar.

Habitat:[edit]

Lowland rainforest of eastern Madagascar.

Description:[edit]

Medium sized palm to about 10m, with gracefully arching leaves.

Culture:[edit]

I've had great difficulty with my two plants (one now actually). They rarely hold more than two leaves, and as the new leaf starts, the oldest leaf dies. Deep shade, and moisture seems to be helping, but its very slow.
