Conservation Status:

Vulnerable

Distribution & Habitat:

It grows on granite outcrops in low transitional moist forest. It has been found in less than 10 areas in French Guiana, Guyana, and Suriname.

Description:

A small/medium sized palm (solitary/clumping ?) with slightly plumose leaves, and long drooping leaflets.

Culture:

Sunny, moist, but well drained position.
