Sonoran Palmetto
Distribution & Habitat:
Open forest in Mexico.
Description:
A very large palm, to about 20m tall, which carries a large number of very long costapalmate leaves. The young plants can have a distinctive bluish tinge to the leaves.
Culture:
A sunny, well drained position in the subtropics or warm temperate regions.
