Distribution & Habitat:
Open forest in northern Veracruz, Mexico.
Description:
A small cycad with a subterranean trunk, and leaves up to 1m long.
General:
Very similar to Zamia fischeri. Z. vazquezii has more, longer leaves, and more than 12 pairs of leaflets.
Culture:
Sunny, moist, but well drained position.
