Brazil and Paraguay

Habitat:

Open savannah.

Description:

A small acaulescent palm with thin grass-like leaflets.

General:

Very rare.

Culture:

Unknown in cultivation. From its habitat it would like a sunny, moist, but well drained position. Probably drought and frost tolerant.
