Common Names:

Horned Seed Palm.

Distribution & Habitat:

Endemic to the mountainious rainforests of peninsular Malaysia at about 800m elevation.

Description:

A small, clustering understory palm . It has glossy widely-spaced fishtail-shaped leaflets and the fruits have two horn-like lobes on one end.

Culture:

Warm, sheltered and moist. Tropics or warm sub-tropics.
