Conservation Status:

Unknown

Distribution & Habitat:

Endemic to cool, wet cloud forest areas of Honduras.

Description:

A small shade loving palm to 0.7m high, with long, narrow, simple leaves.

General:

Only discovered in 1995.

Culture:

Cool, sheltered, and moist. Quite fast growing.
