Lowland rainforest, Madagascar.

Description:[edit]

A solitary palm to 15m, with attractive light green leaflets, which are very pale when new.

General:[edit]

A very recent addition to the range of Madagascan palms, originally thought to be extinct.

Culture:[edit]

Prefers light shade when young, but will take full sun when it gets bigger.
