The north east coast of Madagascar.

Description:[edit]

A small clustering palm (altho often appearing solitary), to about 2.5 m tall. It gets its name however from the wide variation in leaf shape that it can possess, from simple bifid leaves, thru to pinnate, with up to 13 leaflets.
