Mountains of south-east Madagascar.

Habitat:[edit]

Rainforest.

Description:[edit]

A small to medium sized clustering palm, with up to 20 stems, to about 5m tall.

General:[edit]

Named after McDonalds Restuarants, who funded 4 years of reasearch into Madagascan palms.

Culture:[edit]

Warm, sheltered and moist.
