Distribution & Habitat:

Tropical rainforest from sea-level to 500m altitude, Madagascar.

Description:

A medium/large understory solitary palmate palm, with dark green leaf tops, and silvery undersides.

Culture:

A sheltered, moist but well drained position in a tropical/warm sub-tropical area. Slow growing.
