Distribution & Habitat:
Open grass areas in rocky ravines at about 1500m in Transvaal Province, in the catchments of the Wilge River, Olifants and Little Olifants Rivers. Fires are a regular occurence in the area.
Description:
A medium sized clumping cycad to about 2m, with up to 3 stems, and blue-green leaves up to 1m. Leaf bases covered in wool.
Culture:
Full sun, well drained position. Slow growing, and dislikes being transplanted. Frost tolerant.
