Wet, tropical rainforest of Guatamala and Mexico.
Description:[edit]
A very small palm, to about 1m high with corrugated leaves, which hasve distinctly toothed margins. The typical form has a plain green leaf, with very attractive white edge around it, however there are several other forms with slight differences in the leaf.

A very popular palm with collectors, due to its very unusual leaves and size, but now unfortunately rare in its natural habitat.
