Distribution & Habitat:[edit]

Rainforests of Guadalcanal.

Description:[edit]

A very large, stilt rooted emergent palm, with arching leaves, and erect leaflets.

Culture:[edit]

Warm, sheltered, and moist. Very tropical (The plant in Figure 1 was already showing signs of cold damage, yet the temperature at the time hadn't yet gone below 10°C (50°F)).
