Distribution & Habitat:[edit]

Coastal coral banks in Cuba.

Description:[edit]

The tallest Coccothrinax, getting to 30m. Solitary, with dark green leaves that are silver on the underside.

Culture:[edit]

Sunny, moist, but well drained position. Salt and wind tolerant.

"Discolor" leaves are the ones with different colours on each leaf side. "Concolor" are the leaves with no difference in color among sides. A lot of species in the genus Coccothrinax show the brightest silvers on the abaxial side.
