Distribution & Habitat:[edit]

Southeastern coast and Keys of Florida, and the Bahamas, in open forest often close to the coast.

Description:[edit]

A attractive, solitary palm with a slender trunk covered in woven fibres, and a sparse crown of deeply divided leaves with thin drooping segments, dark green above and silvery white below.

Culture:[edit]

Sunny, moist, but well drained position. Tolerant of exposed coastal situations. Slow growing
